For developers

API & webhooks

Pull transcripts, summaries and tasks into your own systems automatically, via the REST API or a webhook. No detour through US services: everything runs on our EU infrastructure.

Included from the Pro plan. API access is already enabled during the 14-day trial.

Connected in 3 steps

  1. In MeetingIQ, create an API token under Einstellungen → API & Webhooks (Settings → API & webhooks). For security reasons it is shown only once.
  2. Either query the REST API or enter a webhook URL to which we send every finished meeting.
  3. Done. For Make, Zapier or n8n, the webhook URL generated there is all you need.

REST API

All endpoints are read-only, return JSON and expect the token in the headerAuthorization: Bearer miq_…Limit: 120 requests per minute per token.

GET/api/v1/meetingsList, filterable by status
GET/api/v1/meetings/{id}Summary, key points, tasks
GET/api/v1/meetings/{id}/transcriptFull text + speaker segments

Example

curl -H "Authorization: Bearer miq_..." \
  "https://meetingiq.de/api/v1/meetings?status=completed&limit=10"

Response

{
  "data": {
    "id": "6165b3df-…", "title": "Jour Fixe Vertrieb", "status": "completed",
    "language": "de", "durationSec": 2984,
    "summaryShort": "…", "summary": "…",
    "keyPoints": ["…"], "decisions": ["…"],
    "participants": [{ "name": "Anna Beispiel", "email": "anna@firma.de" }],
    "tasks": [{ "title": "Angebot nachfassen", "assignee": { "name": "Anna" },
                "dueDate": null, "status": "open" }],
    "links": { "self": "…", "transcript": "…", "app": "…" }
  }
}

Webhooks

As soon as a meeting has been fully processed, we send the complete result to your URL by POST, in the same structure as the API. Failed deliveries are retried automatically, and every delivery can be viewed with its status in the interface.

POST https://your-domain.com/hook
X-MeetingIQ-Event:     meeting.completed
X-MeetingIQ-Delivery: 9f1c… (ID of this delivery)
X-MeetingIQ-Signature: sha256=… (HMAC over the raw body)

{ "event": "meeting.completed", "timestamp": "…", "data": { …Meeting… } }

Verify the signature (Node.js)

const expected = "sha256=" + crypto
  .createHmac("sha256", SIGNING_SECRET)
  .update(rawBody)
  .digest("hex");

crypto.timingSafeEqual(
  Buffer.from(expected),
  Buffer.from(req.headers["x-meetingiq-signature"])
);

Make, Zapier and n8n

You do not need an additional integration for this. All three accept a generic incoming webhook:

  • Make: create a “Custom Webhook” module and copy the generated URL.
  • Zapier: “Webhooks by Zapier” → “Catch Hook” trigger.
  • n8n: Webhook node, use the production URL.

Enter the URL in MeetingIQ under Einstellungen → API & Webhooks (Settings → API & webhooks). A click on “Testen” (Test) sends a test delivery straight away, so you can build your field mapping without waiting for the next meeting.

Data protection

Processing and storage take place exclusively in the EU. Tokens are stored only as a hash, can be revoked at any time, and every webhook delivery is signed. Retrieval via the API is traceable in the audit log. Details are in our privacy centre and the data processing agreement (both in German).

Questions about the integration?

Tell us which system the data should go to, and we will set it up once together with you.
