For healthcare

Meeting notes for healthcare, with automatic PII redaction

Document case conferences, quality circles and team meetings without sensitive health data leaving your organisation. Names, addresses and diagnoses are removed automatically before saving, and everything is processed in the EU.

Automatic PII redaction

Names, addresses, dates of birth, insurance IDs and specific diagnoses are removed from the transcript and summary before saving.

Healthcare template

Structures case conferences and team meetings into findings, decision and next steps, instead of an unformatted wall of text.

Art. 9 risk score

Detects automatically when health data (Art. 9 GDPR) is present and flags the meeting for the attention it needs.

Safe under medical confidentiality

Processed exclusively in the EU, no US CLOUD Act. Every data access is logged, in line with doctors' duty of confidentiality (§ 203 StGB, German Criminal Code).

Short retention

Original audio is deleted after 24 hours by default; the period can be reduced to 0 hours per workspace.

Consent built in

Uploading is technically possible only after actively confirming that all participants have consented, with a logged record.

In three steps

1

Record the meeting

Record a team meeting or case conference live in the browser or upload it, once the participants have consented.

2

PII redaction active

With auto-redaction enabled, names and diagnoses are removed before the transcript and summary are saved.

3

Share the result

Structured summary, decisions and tasks, anonymised and recorded audit-proof in the audit log.

Frequently asked questions

Is processing health data allowed at all?+
Health data is a special category under Art. 9 GDPR and requires a sound legal basis and appropriate safeguards. MeetingIQ supports this with EU-only processing, automatic PII redaction, short retention and a logged consent gate. The legal assessment of the specific use remains with the controller.
What exactly is redacted?+
With automatic PII redaction enabled, personal names, addresses, dates of birth, insurance and case IDs, specific diagnoses and medication names, among others, are removed from the transcript and summary before saving.
Does the data leave the EU?+
No. Hosting in Germany (Hetzner), transcription via Deepgram's EU endpoint, AI summaries via Mistral in France. No transfer to the USA.
